He Returns as a Full Grown Man!
On today’s DiabetesPowerShow, Charlie Cherry, Chris Daniel, and Lori Cherry chatted with an old friend of the show. Mike Falk first appeared many years ago as a child, on an episode that we dedicated to children with Type One Diabetes. He was among 4 other kids ranging in age from 8 to 17. Mike was 10 at the time, and now he joins us again as an adult.
Mike brought along a friend, Reed Gialketsis, who also has Type One Diabetes. She and Mike have known each other from “back in the day”, when they were both young ambassadors for the JDRF community.
Also joining us in studio is Lori’s Brother, Gary, and his Wife, Ros. They do not have Diabetes, but they were a great addition to today’s show, asking questions that will help and inform people who are newly diagnosed with Diabetes.
