We couldn't think of a sub-title for this show, so here’s the translation…Charlie Cherry, Chris Moore, Theresa Moore, and Chris Daniel get all the information (411) on Nikola Trajkovski, who has Type One Diabetes, and is a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist, and a Licensed Dietitian. (Don’t judge me...I haven't slept in 2 days…)

On today's DiabetesPowerShow.com, Charlie Cherry, Chris Moore, Theresa Moore, and Chris Daniel welcome, in studio, Nikola Trajkovski RDN, LD. Nick is a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist, and a Licensed Dietitian. Nick is also a Type 1 Diabetic.
Diagnosed at the age of 4, Nick brings a lifetime of experience in dealing with T1D. He is now a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist and Licensed Dietitian. He is working toward becoming a CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator).

Nick shares some of his life experience in dealing with T1D. He also gives us some practical diet advice to help us make wise choices, as we navigate though life with Diabetes.

Also on the show, Charlie welcomes, in studio, his favorite high school teacher, Don Day, and his lovely wife, Bette. Mr. Day was a music teacher and choir director. He was a true inspiration to Charlie, and made an impression that followed him throughout his life.

Charlie is currently in pre-production for the feature-length documentary film, The Children of Diabetes...Needles, Pumps, and Finger Sticks.

The soundtrack for the film is provided by the National Children's Diabetes Choir, which is also directed by Charlie. This project might not have happened without those early life experiences gained under the direction and inspiration of Don Day. Don will also be lending his talent as a local Arizona choir director for the film.

Bette is a creative person, who has built a business around her artistic talents. She designs and creates ornaments for home decor.
